A summer camp in Italy where children from many lands play, explore, and create together in a medieval-inspired world, using English as their shared language throughout the adventure.

About the programme
A one-week medieval English immersion experience for children aged 8+, set in the historic countryside of Umbria, Italy.
Participants from many lands live together in a supervised environment, using English as the shared language of their community. Across the week, children build a shared story, creating characters, crafting simple costumes and props, and preparing for a final immersive role-play quest inside the medieval fortress of Castiglione del Lago.
Inspired by cooperative role-play games, the programme is non-violent, inclusive, movement-based, and designed for varying English levels, with learning taking place through experience rather than formal lessons

The Grand Finale
Throughout the week, students work together toward a final, spectacular performance: a reenactment of a historic battle that took place in the very setting where they have been immersed in their medieval world. The camp culminates in the Battle of Hannibal at Lake Trasimene (217 BC), brought to life through storytelling, movement, and performance. By stepping into history and embodying its characters, students transform their learning into a vivid, unforgettable show.
